Down the rabbit hole

Returned from the rabbit hole of the graduation project. Hectic and tiring. The journey was quite nice with so many, I repeat so many ups and downs. The aspiration to be a part of professional film production was fulfilled. Machines, which I thought I would take more time to touch my hands upon, were used during two major productions. Arri Alexa Lt is a heavy machine, I bow down before Girish Gangadharan for the massive handheld runs in Jellikettu.

New and revisited learnings throughout the process should be written as a bible for myself. From mix and master to one-point lighting, there is a lot more clarity gained on technicalities.
"The strength of the wolf is the pack"
And for a filmmaker, it's his crew/team. The pack needs more refinement and practice but initiation has taken place.

The journey also had a curve that went and hit the bottom. Neither everyone nor everything is meant to be treated nicely nor expect them to be nice to you. Marked and underlined.
Here is the link to my New Year's resolution. Check it out and maybe you might get some films to watch. Thiruvilaydal by Unni R marked the initial step for the break.
